The vibrant bars and parties, which should have been havens of acceptance, often left him feeling isolated and invisible. The predominantly white queer community presented a challenge for Jumol to find his place, and the close-knit circles made it difficult for him to break through as an outsider. This sense of exclusion took a toll on his mental health, leading to a withdrawal from his courses and a deepening sense of loneliness.
